Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Findlen is owned and operated by Vaaryan Interfaces Private Limited, Plot No. 40/2, D Block, Narendra Nagar Colony, Ameenpur, Sangareddy, Telangana 502032, India ("Findlen", "we", "us", "our").
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, how we share and protect it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you.
This policy applies to the Findlen website, web application and mobile applications.
Who we are and who this policy covers
Findlen is a platform that photographers, videographers and other creative professionals use to run their business, including quotations, bookings, live events, client selection and delivery.
Who this policy covers
- Creators: photographers, videographers and other professionals with a Findlen account.
- Clients:a creator's customers. Most clients access quotations and deliveries through a private link and passcode, without an account. A client may also accept a creator's invitation to create a Findlen account where that option is provided.
- Event guests and viewers: people who open a live event page shared by a creator, including guests who choose to use face search when that feature is available.
- Visitors: people who visit our website.
Explore is for creators. Explore is currently disabled. When enabled, it is intended for signed-in creators to discover other creators and, where supported, request or book their services. Clients and event guests are not shown Explore through the client or event experience.
Our role for creators' client data
When a creator adds client details, creates quotations, uploads event photos or videos, or otherwise provides us with personal data relating to their clients or event guests, Findlen generally processes that data on the creator's behalf and according to the creator's instructions. The creator is responsible for determining the purposes for which that data is collected and used and for having the appropriate authority to provide it to Findlen.
For your own Findlen account and for face-search processing described in Section 3, Findlen determines the purposes and means of processing.
If you are a creator's client or event guest and have a question about data controlled by that creator, you may contact the creator directly or contact Findlen. We will assist where appropriate.

Information about other people
If you provide us with another person's personal data, such as when a creator adds a client or sends an invitation, you should have the appropriate right or authority to provide that information and should inform the person as required by applicable law.
Face search and biometric data
Some Findlen live photo events may offer an optional feature that lets guests find photos in which they appear by taking a selfie.
Face search is not currently enabled in the production service.
When launched, it will be available only where Findlen and the creator enable it.
Face search is optional and is used only within the relevant live photo event.
When face search is available
A creator may enable face search for a supported live photo event. When available, it operates through the live event page shared by the creator, subject to any access controls or passcodes applied to that event.
Consent and age confirmation
Before face search is used, we explain how the feature works and ask the person to confirm that they agree to the processing and that they are 18 or older.
If you do not agree, or if you are under 18, you can use the event without face search.
What we process
- Your selfie:a photo of yourself that you take with your device's camera when you choose face search.
- Face data: a mathematical representation of facial characteristics generated from the selfie and from faces detected in event photos. We treat this information as biometric and sensitive personal data and apply appropriate safeguards.
How face search works
Face search compares the face representation from your selfie with face representations generated from photos in that specific event.
Face search does not determine your name or otherwise identify you as a person. It is used only to find photos in the selected event in which your face may appear.
We do not use face data:
- to identify you across different events;
- to build a profile about you;
- for advertising;
- to sell or share it for advertising;
- to train AI models; or
- for unrelated Findlen features.
How long we keep face-search data
- Your selfie is processed in memory and is not stored as a persistent image.
- The face representation generated from your selfie is held in memory only for the matching operation and is not stored as a face profile.
- Face representations generated from event photos are retained only while required for face search for the relevant event/session and are purged according to the applicable event and face-search lifecycle.
- A consent record may be kept for the face-search session. It contains the event identifier, a one-way coded device identifier, the time of consent, your age confirmation and the number of matches found. It does not contain your selfie, your face data, your IP address or your device's raw identifier.
- Rate-limit counters used to protect the feature from abuse are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Who can see the selfie and results
The creator does not receive your selfie through face search. Face-search results are shown only to the person performing the search, in their current session. Findlen does not create a public or shareable profile of those results.
Face-search technology
Findlen uses automated face detection and face-matching technology for this feature. It is processed within Findlen's controlled infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud. We do not send your selfie to an external face-recognition service. The data is not used to train or fine-tune the face model.
Photos of you or your child
Event photos are uploaded and controlled by the creator who operates the event. If you want a photo of you or your child removed, you may contact the creator or Findlen. We will assist where appropriate and where we have authority to act.

No automated decisions with legal effects
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.
Findlen may use automated image or media processing to provide product features, including scoring live photos for potential highlights. This highlight processing is separate from face search and is not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
No training on your content
Findlen does not use creators' photos, videos, client data or face-search data to train or fine-tune general-purpose AI models.
Storage, transfers, security and retention
Where data is stored
Findlen's production infrastructure includes services hosted in Google Cloud/Firebase regions in India, including asia-south1 (Mumbai). Some supporting services or infrastructure may operate in other regions or countries.

You may request deletion of your Findlen account from the account settings in the app or on the web.
When you request deletion, your account is immediately placed into a deletion state, and a 14-day cancellation period applies before the account and associated data are permanently removed. This period lets you cancel an accidental deletion request.
You may cancel the deletion request during that period.
Some information may be retained after deletion where necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, or satisfy other legal requirements.
